would definitely return here
The location is unbeatable, right on the beach with amazing sunset views over the ocean. I stayed in an 8-bed female dorm that was surprisingly quiet. Breakfast options were simple but sufficient, like bagels and fruit. The atmosphere is social with lots of fun events happening. Free beach gear was a big plus.

Staying here with my family killed it! The outdoor patio was perfect for hanging out and soaking in the sun. The location right by the beach can't be beat, and my grandkids loved the daily activities they offered.
For dads, it would be great if the cleaning staff were more attentive to the common areas.

The location was perfect, just steps away from the beach. We surfed and enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere. The hostel offered great activities, and the staff was super friendly. Don't miss out on their tasty breakfast and the beach equipment rentals!
The only downside was the noise at night from the other guests in the co-ed room. It was a bit distracting for those of us looking to chill after a long day.

The location is fantastic. Just steps away from the beach, perfect for morning swims and sunset views. The atmosphere feels alive with a vibrant community vibe, and I met so many amazing people . The staff were friendly and always up for a chat. Activities like surf lessons and group dinners create a fun environment. The kitchen had everything I needed for basic cooking. The noise at night could be quite distracting, especially with parties happening. The bathrooms were sometimes not as clean as I hoped. On a couple of mornings, the breakfast items were missing. The experience balanced out as I focused on the positives and enjoyed my time at the beach. Another thing to note, the shared room was comfortable but the bed squeaked a lot, which disrupted my sleep occasionally. Still, I would return for the location and fun atmosphere.

I had such a blast staying at a beachfront hostel in San Diego! The atmosphere was like being back in college dorms, with surfers and dogs everywhere. The hostel had a huge bathroom and delicious breakfast. One of the best things was the deck overlooking the beach, where I could relax with a beer and mingle with other travelers. The staff were super friendly and the location was perfect, with lots of bars, shops, and restaurants within walking distance. the place was amazing!
